Have trouble getting up and down from the floor? Click here to learn about my special Gentle Yoga class
 Strength | Balance | Relaxation | Renewal | Spirit | Meditation
This is an introductory class -- no previous yoga experienced necessary. Each class explores a full range of yoga poses, including Sun Salutations, standing poses, balances, twists, seated poses, reclining poses, and relaxation pose.
Each class is a self-contained and well rounded yoga practice, but I often plan each class around a theme like core strength, building a flow, or opening the heart center. I place a special emphasis on poses that keep the body strong, balanced and flexible. Class always ends with a 10 minute relaxation pose and guided meditation.

Gentle stretching, strengthening, balance and flexibility tailored for students with mobility issues
In this class, we use chairs, blocks and other props to support our movements, and we only get down onto the floor one time, to close the class with stretching and relaxation.
In the past, this class has included:
- COPD patients on oxygen
- seniors who are losing strength, mobility and balance
- Students with chronic lower back pain
- Cancer patients
- Students with fibromyalgia and lupus
I will work with each student to accommodate any special needs.
